Curriculum Developer and Instructor, CHANCE Program, UIC (2014, 2015, 2016)

CHANCE is a program at the University of Illinois at Chicago that supports underrepresented and under-resourced students by fostering meaningful academic engagement and promoting student success. It plays a key role in UIC’s efforts to recruit, support, and retain these students through partnerships with Chicago Public Schools, City Colleges of Chicago, community organizations, and regional school districts. By offering mentoring, academic support, and access to college and career resources, CHANCE helps students navigate the path to higher education and graduation.

Member of the Organizing Committee, UC Math Bowl Competition (since Fall 2019)

Math Bowl is a high school/junior high school math contest held annually in March at the University of Cincinnati for the past 40 years. It is a popular event in Greater Cincinnati, offered in 3 levels of math curriculum, and it is attended by a large and diverse group of students — about 80 teams of 2–5 students from 27 schools in 2019, for example.

Workshop Leader, GiST Workshop, Tulane University (October 11, 2025)

Girls in STEM at Tulane (GiST) is a program that provides fifth through seventh grade girls with the opportunity to meet and work with women role models in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Workshops developed and offered by Tulane faculty and Tulane student teams encourage and empower girls to inquire, investigate, and discover in a positive environment.
